VOYAGE OF THE COLINDA 1853
In 1853 Captain Mills was master of the barque Colinda on its voyage from England to Vancouver Island with a large number of emigrants.
The Surgeon Superintendent on board was Dr Henry Coleman who kept a detailed journal of the voyage of 243 pages.
On 20 November 1853, he noted his orders to Feltham, the Emigrants' Steward.
